The Traddock Hotel has twelve ensuite hotel rooms – each with its own individual character and décor – and each is dressed with all the comforts and homely touches that you may desire. We use Sheridan cotton sheets with soft & luxurious duck down duvets (sheets and blankets if you prefer).

The country house hotel rooms are equipped with full tea and coffee making facilities, LCD TV's & we offer free Wifi Internet access throughout the hotel in Yorkshire. Bathrooms have a selection of Molton Brown toiletries and big, soft, towels. Most hotel rooms have impressive views of the surrounding countryside.

Open minded as to what makes a fine meal,the Traddock’s 2 AA Rosette chefs pride themselves on delivering top quality restaurant menus using the finest Yorkshire ingredients.

They have a passion for sourcing and preparing the finest foods found on our door step and we have partnered with many local artisan producers who supply our kitchens with the best ingredients Yorkshire has to offer.

Our focus is on providing the best local, seasonal and Organic dishes inspired by the traditions of the Yorkshire Dales and the English slow food movement. We have an in-depth wine list of over seventy fine wines, of which many are choices from the New World and a well stocked bar!

Wedding Venue

The Traddock hotel is a Georgian country house set in magnificent surroundings in the village of Austwick in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. The village itself is enclosed by spectacular scenery, with the parish church just round the corner. This is a family run hotel, with a relaxed and homely atmosphere which offers a perfect venue for your wedding reception (we are not licensed for civil weddings on the premises.)

Each of our twelve ensuite bedrooms is individually styled and offers those little extra touches for guests’ comfort and relaxation.

We do not offer ‘packages’ for weddings, preferring to personalise your day to your needs. Having exclusive use of the hotel on the day of your wedding offers you, your family and friends a relaxing and personalised stay, with little touches and personal service to make it a very special day tailored to your needs. Experienced help is on hand to advise you on menus, wine, flowers, entertainment, and any other details.
