Michael and family, your hosts have been at the golden lion for 26 years after buying it in January 1988. The building had been used as an outdoor centre before that and required extensive renovation before opening back as a hotel on 14th may, 1988. Situated on the Dales Way & Lady Anne Way, The Buck Inn is a stunning Georgian coaching inn which sits below Buckden Pike, in the heart of the village of Buckden, amongst the stunning scenery of Upper Wharfedale. After a long period of closure, The Buck Inn reopened its doors in May 2018, after undergoing a large restoration project.

The Red Lion, Burnsall

The Red Lion is a historic 16th century coaching Inn set on the banks of the River Wharfe.
