The Kings Head, Kettlewell
Recently taken over by Michael and Jenny Pighills, The King's Head strives to offer you exclusively homemade food with a traditional Yorkshire welcome. Head chef Owner Michael is passionate about using only the finest local ingredients. Our meat is sourced locally from local butchers and direct from local farms, and our fruit and vegetables are supplied daily to ensure optimum freshness. Formerly of the Angel Inn at Hetton and more recently The Craven Heifer Inn at Skipton, Michael and his team strive to deliver you only the finest produce. Michael has won many awards, including the prestigious Sunday Times pub of the year.
Unfortunately, because of the size of the pub, we are not able to welcome dogs. We are, however, making steps to build an outdoor doggy area for our four legged friends. Thank you for your understanding.
EAT
The food served at The King's Head is modern British. We specialise in delivering a modern approach to pub classics. Some of Michael's specialities are steak and local ale pie, chicken breast stuffed with local Wensleydale cheese and sumptuous steaks cooked just the way you like.
Food is served Monday-Saturday 12noon-3.00pm and 5.00pm-9.00pm, Sunday 12noon-7.00pm.
All our food is freshly prepared by Michael and his team, so at busy time we ask you to bear with us. Sit back and relax-it'll be worth the wait!

All our wines have been carefully selected to compliment your dining experience.
We are happy to recommend the perfect wine to suit your chosen dish.
We also have a range of carefully selected local cask ales, the perfect accompaniment to our hearty Yorkshire Fayre.
SLEEP
We have five double and one twin en suite bedrooms at The King's Head. Each room has been newly renovated and individually styled, making the most of the enviable views, whether it be the pretty village church or the dramatic hills surrounding us.
All our rooms are on the first or second floor and offer:

We aim to deliver our residents an escapism in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales with real home comforts.
All rooms are accessed through the pub, so we respectfully ask all residents to be in the pub in time for closing.
If residents wish to dine with us during their stay, we highly recommend you book a table when booking your accommodation.

BOOKING CONDITIONS
A non-refundable deposit of £20 per room per night is required to confirm all reservations. If you need to cancel your accommodation with us, provided we receive 72 hours notice, no further charge will be made. We reserve the right to charge the remainder of the room tariff if we are not given 72 hours notice of cancellation.
PARKING
Regrettably, we do not have car parking facilities for residents but there is plenty of long stay parking available in the village car park a two minute walk away (approx 100m).
