The Fent Shop is an independent, family run business located at Thorlby, Nr Skipton established over 20 years. The Fent Shop has always had a reputation for being a sewers paradise. Bursting to the seams with its vast range of designer fents and rolls of fabrics for curtaining, upholstery and dress making and an ever increasing range of craft cottons and fat quarters, haberdashery, trimmings and lots more.

Our 1st floor showroom offers a large range of sample books from leading manufacturers from which you can order fabrics not in stock.

 

We also stock a vast selection of designer fents including GP & J Baker, Designers Guild, Jane Churchill, Mulberry, Romo and lots more. These are all subject to availability, and once they have gone, they cannot be re-ordered.

 

In addition, we have linings, inter-linings, tapes & cords, soft furnishing trimmings & accessories, poly & feather cuhsion pads.

Making Up Service

 

We offer a making up service for curtains, Roman blinds and cushions made from fabrics purchased at the Fent Shop, and will happily deal by telephone, post or email if you haven't got your measurements to hand.

 

Also available are hand forged curtain poles made to measure by a local blacksmith.

 

If you require loose covers or upholstery work we can also offer details of a local craftsman who will happily make up fabrics purchased from the Fent Shop.
