Opened in 1890, it very much resembles a Victorian style station building. In the evening, in its magical setting, the Cavendish Pavilion is transformed into a fantastic party venue or a breathtaking Yorkshire Dales wedding venue.

After a stroll around Bolton Abbey there is nowhere better than the Cavendish Pavilion for something to eat and drink.

The Cavendish Pavilion is open 7 days a week from 10.00am until 5pm (4pm in winter) serving delicious, freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and snacks. Plus we have an ice cream counter for the ice cream lover! Seating is available both inside and out with canopy sheltered tables outside for dog walkers and bikers. The counter is self service but our friendly staff are on hand to assist you at all times.

The Cavendish Pavilion has recently re-opened after major refurbishment which brought with it a brand new menu full of tasty homemade dishes and totally homemade cakes.

Weddings

Delightfully unique and situated next to the river, the Cavendish Pavilion is transformed into a breathtaking Yorkshire Dales wedding reception venue.

The Cavendish Pavilion is undeniably inspirational. A place where elegant entertaining meets the natural beauty of the River Wharfe, offering everything you could need for a wedding party with a difference. The room features a traditional fireplace, integral bar and can be decorated to complement any theme you have in mind. With stunning exterior views, it’s also the perfect place for your guests to spill outside and enjoy the evening overlooking the river.

The setting is complemented by expert organisation; great tasting food and friendly attentive staff, all of which combine to help make your day one to remember.

Good food is freshly prepared in our own kitchens using the best quality local produce – we can even organise bespoke menus to suit your taste.

The Cavendish Pavilion is completely exclusive to you from 6.30pm (access is available from 5.00pm subject to an additional charge).

The Cavendish Pavilion has recently re-opened after major refurbishment and can now cater for events of between 40 and 110 guests. The new layout of the Cavendish Pavilion boasts a wonderful dining area. The beauty of The Cavendish Pavilion is its isolation away from the madding crowds and traffic so the whole area becomes yours for the evening. In the summer guests can enjoy drinks outside overlooking the river.
