Skipton Park Guest'otel, Skipton
We offer all our guests a warm welcome in an informal and friendly atmosphere. Our rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated to ensure a comfortable stay. One of our bedrooms is situated on the ground floor, and proves to be very popular with guests who have difficulty with stairs. All the rooms have en-suite shower facilities, televisions with Freesat HD, hospitality trays and free Wifi access. We pride ourselves by serving quality breakfasts in our dales-style dining room (all dietary needs are catered for). We are conveniently situated for local amenities and are a perfect base for discovering the picturesque Yorkshire Dales.
We are a totally non-smoking establishment.
Guest Accommodation and Public Areas
We have six letting bedrooms. Three of these are standard double rooms, two rooms have a king-size bed and the other bedroom is a family room consisting of a double, single and put-me-up bed if required. With having a double and single bed, the family room can also be used as a twin.
All our rooms offer:
Shower en-suites containing sink and toilet
Hospitality trays
Remote controlled TV with Freesat HD
Table and chairs
Wardrobes and bedside cabinets
Blankets
Hairdryers
Fitted controllable electric heaters
Alarm clocks
Other facilities are also available on request:
Bath sheets
Iron and ironing board
Trouser press
There are 2 side-hung consecutive fire doors leading to each bedroom giving an entrance width of 67cm.
The bedrooms are located as follows:
1 ground floor (double room)
3 first floor (2 double rooms and 1 with king sized bed)
2 top floor attic rooms (1 double room with king sized bed, and 1 family room)
The stairs to the attic rooms have 14 steps and are fairly steep.
The ground floor room is on the same level as the entrance/reception area and the breakfast room. This makes the room ideal for guests who find stairs a problem or require a walking stick or small zimmer frame. Although this is the case, this room is our smallest and is very restricted. The passage ways are also narrow in places which makes it unsuitable for guests totally dependent on a wheelchair.
