Wigwam® Holidays Sedgewell Barn nestles in the rolling hills of rural North Yorkshire. Our six en-suite Running Water Deluxe Cabins, four of which have outdoor bubbly hot tubs, are beautifully situated in a secluded part of our family-run farm.

For anyone wanting to get away from life’s hustle and bustle, we’re the perfect destination. Toast marshmallows beneath the stars, listen to the sound of birdsong and maybe have a visit from one of our free-range hens!

Wigwam® Holidays Sedgewell Barn is ideally located between the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks with the bustling market town of Northallerton and many other family and dog-friendly visitor attractions nearby.

There are many fantastic local village pubs within walking and cycling distance. The A1(M), Northallerton railway station and the village bus stop are also close by, making it easy to get out and about by car or public transport.

All our cosy, heated cabins can easily accommodate up to a family of four and are situated within their own private area with spectacular, uninterrupted views and stunning sunsets. So whether you want to have a fun-filled holiday, some chill-out time with friends or to celebrate a family occasion, we can cater for all your needs.

For anyone staying with us in one our fantastic en-suite glamping cabins arriving between Friday 21st December 2018 and Thursday 10th January 2019, you'll also be able to enjoy our complimentary Festive Hamper which includes Yorkshire Crisps, a truckle of cheese from the Wensleydale Creamery along with other tasty nibbles such as mince pies, chutney, oatcakes and of course a chocolate Santa! “Fab again”

This was our second visit to Sedgewell Barn Wigwams. Our first visit was in September. Again, lovely, clean, warm and comfortable. You need to take your own towels and bedding. Very peaceful and tranquil. Catherine has provided a file full of local info eg taxis, restaurants etc. Fire pit outside, you can purchase logs, marshmallows, potatoes for roasting. Will be visiting again.

“Superb Family Break”

My wife and I, two young children and our dog all stayed for one night and had an absolutely fantastic time. While it may be in the middle of the countryside we had everything we could have wanted, including lots of space and some outdoor games for the children to play with. The surroundings were beautiful and so relaxing. We plan to return and have already recommended to friends!

“Love Love Love”

This is our 2nd visit to Sedgewell Barn Wigwams in 6 weeks! We first visited in October half term for 5 nights. There are only 2 wigwams on site which means it is lovely quiet and private. The wigwam itself is exceptionally clean and cosy. Location is also ideal with many places to visit with the children 20-30 minutes away. The owner, Catherine is the perfect host and has been so helpful on both visits. We hired bedding which was worth it as it meant we had less things to pack into the car. We also got pizzas delivered one night which saved me going into town to buy food. We will be booking again for Easter!!

“First Ever Customers - wish to return!”

We were the first ever customers in the wigwam back in July 2017 and we had a fantastic stay. Obviously it was spotless and we were pleasantly surprising by the quality of the furnishings (especially the bathroom) and how comfortable the bed was. We brought our own firewood and firelighters (but these are available to buy on arrival) and used the fire pit which was really nice, but struggled with the wind a little bit. A windbreak or similar would have been very useful to get the fire hot faster. The wigwam was really warm inside even early in the morning. We would love to return and are considering making it an annual occurrence!

“Amazing Place”

A truly beautiful quiet spot where you can really relax in a clean and cosy Wigwam with everything you need included. The bucks fizz and chocolates on arrival were a lovely touch. Can't wait to go back.
