Orcaber Farm is a family run caravan and camping site situated in the Yorkshire Dales with stunning views of the surrounding hills and countryside of both the National Park and the Forest of Bowland, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Set in a quiet and peaceful location just ½ mile off the A65 and only a 15 minute walk to the charming village of Austwick, consisting of 2 country pubs- The Game Cock and The Traddock, local village shop, playground and miles of fabulous walled bridlepaths to explore. Ideally situated to walk the Yorkshire 3 peaks- Ingleborough, Penyghent and Whernside.
At Orcaber we offer generously spaced out fully serviced hard standing pitches- each of which includes electric hook up, water tap and drain for grey waste; spacious grass pitches with electric hook up and a large, well-drained camping field that offers electric hook up if required. We also offer camping pods, a perfect way to start your camping journey. The site benefits from a well-equipped shop, onsite homemade pizzas every Saturday through peak season- preorder required, heated shower and toilet bocks, undercover pot wash areas and a warm dog wash. There is a fully enclosed dog exercise field and a dog walk track, part of which runs alongside Austwick Beck. Firepits and wood are available for delivery directly to your pitch every evening, ready to wind down after a day of exploring.
Nearby attractions include the famous Ingleton Waterfalls Trail for woodland-based walks among spectacular limestone scenery, the show caves of White Scar and Ingleborough and the Settle to Carlisle railway line -75 miles of spectacular countryside through the Yorkshire Dales National Park, North Pennines and crossing over the magnificent Ribblehead viaduct. Malham Cove, a famous Yorkshire Dales beauty spot, is also a popular local spot.
