The Buck Inn, Buckden
Situated on the Dales Way & Lady Anne Way, The Buck Inn is a stunning Georgian coaching inn which sits below Buckden Pike, in the heart of the village of Buckden, amongst the stunning scenery of Upper Wharfedale. After a long period of closure, The Buck Inn reopened its doors in May 2018, after undergoing a large restoration project.
The bar area has been decorated in a more contemporary style, whilst exposing and maintaining many of the original features, and has been opened out to form one continuous room, sub-divided into several distinct areas. This offers our guests the options of cosy dining and drinking in the bar area, a comfy seating area for pre or post meal drinks (or for weary walkers who just need somewhere comfy to rest their legs after a hard walk!) or a more spacious dining experience throughout the rest of the pub.
We are blessed with a large indoor space which enables us to cater for couples who prefer a quiet meal away from the crowds, to large groups who wish to dine together in comfort. We are also able to offer space for meetings and can provide refreshments for these occasions if required. The outside seating area at the front of the pub offers stunning views of the village and the valley, and in summer months is a sun trap into the late hours.
We have 11 en-suite rooms, you are able to reserve a room on booking.com but we would always recommend giving us a call, as we do not release all of our rooms on that site. Please see our website for more details.
We are dog friendly throughout the pub, although do ask that dogs are kept on a lead for the comfort of other guests.
