About Us
Hidden away in the quiet, beautiful village of Timble, nestling in the stunning Washburn Valley. The Timble Inn is a romantic Grade II listed 18th Century coaching Inn with foundations dating back to 1200.
The Inn re-opened in 2010 after five years of extensive renovation and restoration and has now been thoroughly modernised and benefits from brand new heating, water and electrical systems. A new kitchen has also been added and the bar area relocated and modernised without losing its natural charm.
No expense has been spared in creating a casually elegant atmosphere in all of the nine letting rooms where luxury abounds. From our scrumptious natural feather pillows and duvets, luxurious crisp white linen and high-quality furnishings help you melt into your pocket-sprung bed. Wall-mounted 32” flat screen TV equipped with Freeview and an extensive hospitality tray allows you to unwind in style. A robe and slippers are provided for your ultimate comfort, as are a range of indulgent toiletries sourced from a local Harrogate supplier, H2K and a selection of Egyptian cotton towels. Free Wi-Fi.
Our charming restaurant is classical and intimate with glamorous touches to make your visit special. Comfy chairs, cosy tables and delicious food, thoughtfully and imaginatively prepared just for you.
All our dishes are fresh and using the finest quality locally sourced ingredients, our talented chefs prepare and cook with care. Dinner is served with style.

Our Bar
We have a delightful bar area in the centre of the Inn. Start your evening with a quiet drink in the bar before settling down for an exquisite dinner experience.
Wines tasted and selected by us. Local real ales pulled with a proper head… a glass of Port, a malt or maybe an Eau de Vie.
The Wines
We’ve taken much time choosing our wines and we are rightly proud of the list and hope you enjoy what we have to offer.
The Beers
‘We have real ale on draught, usually a bitter, a pale ale and a guest ale. These vary from time to time but wherever possible we use local Yorkshire or small breweries to source our ales.’
