THE LISTERS ARMS
The Lister Arms, Malham
Nestled at the foot of Malham Cove is our traditional country inn; picturesque on the outside, cosy and welcoming on the inside. We’re a popular inn in the Yorkshire Dales thanks to our comfortable rooms, home-cooked food, award winning cask ales and friendly staff. We’ve many cosy nooks which are perfect for cosying up into. Sit beside one of our log fires with your four-legged friend or on a warmer day we’ve a sunny terrace to the rear and beautiful village green to the front.
Accommodation at The Lister Arms
The rooms at The Lister Arms are stylish, cosy and filled with all the comforts of home. Many have beautiful views of the picturesque village green or the breath-taking Yorkshire Dales National Park. But if you’re looking for something extra special we have a number of Character Rooms which have wonderful wooden beams and some extra special views. You’ll be woken from your slumber with the aroma of a freshly cooked Yorkshire breakfast which is the perfect way to fuel up before a day of exploring.
Food and Drink at The Lister Arms
After a day exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park you’ll be welcomed back to our inn by the heavenly aroma of home cooked food. Food is a huge passion of ours and we’re always working hard to create the tastiest seasonal dishes using the best local produce. From the sausages in our sausage and mash to the steaks on our grill menu; we always try and use ingredients that can be found close to our front door.
Being owned by Thwaites means we always have an enviable selection of cask ales on our bar. We also work closely with like-minded brewers and feature many guest ales throughout the year.
We’re very dog friendly and often have just as many four-legged guest dogs as two-legged guests. Dogs are welcome to join you in the bar for food and drink – there’s a roaring log fire which is the most popular seat in the house with all furry-friends. We have a number of dog friendly rooms which makes us a popular hotel for dog friendly beaks in North Yorkshire.
