“Superb Sunday lunch!”
We've just had the most marvellous lunch here at the Harts Head Inn and can wholeheartedly recommend the roast dinner!! I was going to take a photo but couldn't wait to tuck in... next time! The place has been tastefully refurbished and dining there was a lovely experience.... friendly efficient staff and did I mention ... superb Sunday lunch!
“Great food and service”
Stayed for a night after a cycle ride. Ended up late getting to the pub but the manager made sure we got some food and was worth it, I had the pie which was fantastic! Good comfy rooms which are due to be refurbished soon but still good. Was at the front but not troubled by any road noise. Stayed for lunch the next day as well which again was excellent, the lamb was delicious. Great staff, very friendly and welcoming, couldn't be more helpful. Strongly recommend. Thanks for a great stay.
Just had the most magnificent meal here. I had the rack of lamb which was perfection on a plate and my friend had short beef rib, which was wonderful too. Our desserts were crème brulé with a gin and tonic sorbet which was absolutely fabulous and a chocolate fondant dessert.....it was everything you want in a chocolate dessert. All in all, with the drinks and meal in a very convivial setting, it has been one of the best we've had. Well done to all concerned.
“Carol from Giggleswick”
Since the Harts Head has been re- furbished, we have eaten in the restaurant there on four occasions with different groups of friends and family members. On all occasions we have enjoyed wonderful food and great service. Cannot praise it highly enough. Well done Harts Head - keep up the good work.
A fabulous dining experience. Three of us (and a dog!) went to the Harts Head for a birthday meal-its was amazing!. Crab risotto, artisan breads, hummus and dips for a starter. Venison tagliatelli and Monkfish special for the mains. Faultless. At the end of the meal we were offered the sweet menu but as tempting as they were we were too full to try them. The new décor is fab and the service good. Nothing was too much trouble. Would heartily recommend to all.
“Been before will go again”
We've stayed here before albeit 10 years ago. The Inn is under new management and is about to undergo some refurbishment work. The new staff are really nice, a special mention for Julian - nothing was too much trouble. The beer is top notch and the food is excellent. Breakfast was one of the nicest, non-greasy proper full English breakfasts I've had for a while.
Very friendly and reasonable. Excellent bar menu and superb breakfast. Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed here on a coast to coast ride. Location is stunning. Recommend the double burger and chips. Pudding of crunch toffee pie was lovely too. Glad we were cycling the next day.
“Handy stop for the Way of the Roses cycle route”
A good night's sleep, a generous breakfast, cheerful and attentive staff, easy walking distance of Settle town centre and its fleshpots. A good and wide ranging evening menu in an attractive environment.
What is there not to like about the Hart's Head? Lovely, clean comfortable room. A good range of well kept, mainly local, real ales and fantastic food, from excellent steaks to delicious full English breakfasts. Above all a great atmosphere, with friendly locals and staff and a roaring log fire!
