Set in the peaceful village of Brough, our period cosy cottage is the perfect gateway to the Lake District, the Pennines and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The village is 5 minutes drive from Kirkby Stephen and easily accessible from the M6 and the A66.

There are 2 lovely pubs close by, plus a well-stocked supermarket, fish and chip shop and a small cafe. From a decked balcony at the rear of the cottage you can enjoy the beck which runs through the village. Downstairs there is a lounge with a woodstove, TV, sofa, tub chair and coffee tables.

Through the lounge you can access the bathroom and kitchen, both of which are a good size and offer all mod cons. In the kitchen there is a small fridge, electric cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster and espresso machine. There is also a breakfast bar and a door leading out to the beck down a few steps.

The bathroom is fully furnished and includes a bath and shower. Upstairs is a large master bedroom with a super-king sized bed, tub chair and chest of drawers. The second bedroom has a single bed and provide easy access to the decked balcony, where guests can dine or relax al fresco.
