“Friday night special!”

 

What a treat! We chose the Friday night special of fish and chips which included a bottle of wine as well as usual accompaniments all for £25. The food was superb and very good value. Phil and his team looked after us with efficiency and friendliness which is part of this pubs attraction. Well worth a visit!

We dropped into the Bridge with friends for lunch. We were met by Philip who greeted us with a chirpy air. The meals were perfect. The experience was memorable. Our friends had celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary that week. Phillip produced a bottle of wine as a gift. They then danced to a 50s record. Pity we will possibly never...

We passed here at lunch time and decided to call in for a sandwich - there was plenty of parking. We had a couple of superb baguettes with really fresh bread, plenty of filling and chips and a side salad. excellent value for money.

Whilst staying at a local caravan park we called in last Thursday evening on our way home.We saw that Thursday night is STEAK NIGHT.It seemed good value so we ordered.
