A warm welcome to Skirfare Barn, Yorkshire’s premier group accommodation location in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Surrounded by the beautiful limestone scenery of Upper Wharfedale, this picturesque traditional stone barn, sleeping up to 20 people, has been sensitively converted by local craftsmen to provide convenient, flexible and comfortable group accommodation in a peaceful and private rural setting.

 

 

Sat in its own one acre grounds, complete with garden toys, outdoor seating, and a large outdoor BBQ, it's the perfect venue in an outstanding location. Situated midway between bustling, vibrant Grassington and the charming riverside village of Kettlewell, the Barn provides the perfect base for exploring the many delights of the Yorkshire Dales.

 

 

After a busy day enjoying the honey pot attractions of the local area, return to the peace and quiet of the upper dale and enjoy the seclusion of the relaxing gardens.

 

 

The famous Tennants Arms Hotel and restaurant is only a 10 minute walk away and provides local real ales and excellent bar meals should you choose to have an evening down the pub.

Everyone of our group felt completely at home. With a large lounge area to relax in, we could chat and play games with ease. Three people usually worked in the kitchen and there was everything available to hand... We took advantage of the sun and relaxed in the garden playing football, running games and bbq for the evening meal...A great location central to many beautiful landscapes, Linton Falls, Malham Cove and Malham Tarn were places we visited and walked around.

Brilliant setup for a large group, plenty of space and nice being able to split the sleep setup across a few rooms. Garden was great for playing games and stunning scenery. Sofa area and white board was great for playing games in the evening.
