Low Raisgill Bed & Breakfast, Yockenthwaite
Situated between the hamlets of Hubberholme and Yockenthwaite in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, Low Raisgill B&B is a 17th century stone farm cottage with magnificent views of hay meadows, moorland and Buckden Pike. All of our guest bedrooms are on the first floor; three have en-suite shower facilities and the fourth has the exclusive use of a private bathroom.
5 minutes walk from the bridge at Yockenthwaite & The Dales Way, guests who stay here will enjoy the quietness of a landscape that has changed little over the years; the call of the curlews in spring, lambing in April, the summer hay meadows and under the dark skies the Milky Way can still be seen.
Walkers and Cyclists
Three of the Guardian’s "10 of the best walks in the Yorkshire Dales" either pass the house or are less than five minutes’ walk away. There are fabulous walks for all abilities. For long distance walkers the Pennine Journey and the Tributaries Walk pass the house and The Dales Way is close by. More details are available on our website.
We are on the road heading up to Fleet Moss and a locked integral garage is available for safe storage of bicycles. Clothes can be dried in our boiler room.

Food
We both grew up in families with a strong tradition of serving home-cooked food and for over 35 years we have continued to do this in our own home. It is from this heritage that we are able to offer you fresh home-produced food for your enjoyment.
We make and bake our own bread, brioche, breakfast muffins and afternoon cakes. We produce our own natural yoghurt, prepare seasonal fruit compotes and every January make marmalade. In all of our cooking, we use the free-range eggs from our hens in the croft.
We are committed to offering our guests the best of locally produced food. Walkers often start the day with our popular slow-cooked porridge made with Yockenthwaite Farm's traditionally rolled oats or add Yockenthwaite Granola to the homemade yoghurt.
We buy our breakfast sausages and bacon from Weatherhead & Sons Butchers. Simply put - we feel that they are the best and they can always tell us which Yorkshire farm their meat has been sourced from.
Packed Lunches are available by prior arrangement. Guests are able to choose from a selection of fillings the night before.
Our guests are served breakfast in the Dining Room between 8.00am and 9.00am.
When booking please remember to let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
Garden and Guest Snug
You are welcome to enjoy our beautiful garden with magnificent views. There is also a snug with TV and a logburner in the dining room for you to sit by on colder evenings.
We look forward to welcoming you.
