“Brilliant value place”

I have just returned from a stay at this lovely hotel with my wife. WOW, what a wonderfully friendly and comfortable place it was. We arrived to a roaring fire, which was welcomed,as we were soaked through after a day in the rain at Fountains Abbey. This was followed by a meal of generous portions, which was certainly good value for money.

We retired to the bar area, only to be met by a wonderfully helpful young lady by the name of Kat. We enjoyed some after dinner drinks which, again, were very good value for this type of place,ie, independent family run hotel.

Our room was very comfortable, with crisp white linen and large comfy pillows. We slept "like babies". Breakfast the following morning was as generous as dinner the previous evening. It set us up for the rest of the day. We had a really wonderful stay and hope to return very soon.

Thank you to all of the staff for making our stay a very enjoyable one.

“Great place, Great value, Great people ”

Stayed here with my wife for two nights. The owners and staff were the friendliest we have encountered in a long time. The meals were outstanding quality and excellent value for money as were the drinks. Given the size and stature of this establishment I expected the prices to be considerably higher, a pleasant change indeed! We were looked after by Matt who was attentive and friendly.

We had a nice chat with the owners Mike and Elaine by the roaring fire about the work they have done to the hall over the last 4 years as funds permit. Most places of this size are owned by chains or large companies so credit to them for their commitment and dedication. The setting is beautiful with views over Nidderdale. We stayed in room 10 which has a large bay window and lovely bathroom.

We will be going back very soon.

“Amazing.”

Harefield Hall is a brilliant place if you like a homely atmosphere and friendly experience. We took our 2 young children there for a treat for one of their birthdays. We all had a great time. The food was top class and the children throughly loved staying. I think the stay was made by the way all of the staff treat the children.

Some places behave as if children should not be there, not Harefield Hall!! We had some brilliant conversations with the locals and staff, and found everyone to be extremely approachable and freindly. We would definitely recommend anyone to pay a visit, in fact we have already booked to go back very soon. I have also recommended Harefield Hall to my sister who is looking for a wedding venue.

Thank you all for a wonderful stay.
