Reviews

“Wonderful B&B”

Tim and Zena are such a lovely couple, so welcoming and made us totally feel at home. I was climbing the three peaks and they left breakfast out for me as I was getting up at 5.30am. The whole B&B was spotless. The room was big, cosy and the bed was so comfortable, made getting out of bed difficult. Really nice tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room, along with delicious biscuits. Access to the fridge in the kitchen was also a lovely touch. The full English was superb, lovely crispy bacon! Location is great, plenty of parking! And lots of nice of places to eat in the village - I recommend the Italian place near the co-op! My only thing I would suggest would be a bin in the room as well as the bathroom, but this was because I would of liked to of tidied up. We will definitely be back soon, this time with our dog.

“Lovey people”

We had to cancel at the last minute but Tim was fabulous and so understanding. He was concerned that my daughter had got lost and messaged to see if she was OK and when I explained at 10.40 at night that we had made an error with the date he was so nice and understanding. I suspect they are a genuinely lovely couple and would recommend them to others.

“Gem in the Dales”

A beautiful Guest House with personal attention and a warm welcome. Felt more like an old friend rather than someone who was a complete stranger prior to ringing the door bell. The bedroom was very comfortable and had one of the best beds I have ever slept in. The Tea/Coffee tray had delicious coffee (And decaf) and no UHT milk but the real thing! in a wee milk jug!! When you needed more you went to fridge in the dining room to refill. Breakfast was a treat and especially the bread from the local bakery. I will definately be returning.
