Bay Tree Barn, originally a 19th century barn, now a delightfully restored super stylish luxury holiday cottage for 4 people, in beautiful Nidderdale, nr Harrogate. The deluxe en-suite bathroom features a full size bath with a shower over. Bright and stylish with Italian marble detailing, a big mirror in just the right place, good lighting, tall heated towel rail& shaver point.
Wow! What a room, lots of popping colour and again a fabulous 6ft zip and link bed, dressed with crisp white linen. Dramatic Coral linen curtains adorn the cavernous wardrobe, through the arched window, draw back the aquamarine silk curtains and reveal the breathtaking views. Flat screen smart TV.

The ground floor is kept warm and cosy with under floor heating and exquisite interior. There is also a seperate WC on the ground floor.
Outside the Cottage
Step outside and admire the private garden of this Luxury Cottage. It comes complete with terrace, outdoor furniture and cottage garden not forgetting the stunning Nidderdale landscape all around.
When the sun is shining it’s a heavenly spot for dining al fresco, with only the sound of birds for company. Relax with a glass of champagne and soak up the beautiful views.

Our Stunning Local Area
Bay Tree Barn is in Nidderdale, close to the Yorkshire Dales and the spa town of Harrogate. It's a wonderful area for walking for people of all abilities and energy. We have some stunning walks straight from the door. Breath the wonderful fresh Yorkshire air and feel invigorated!
One of the most beautiful and unspoilt parts of England is on our doorstep. Less frantic than the Yorkshire Dales yet next door to the National Park. Brimham Rocks with its stunning views and amazing rock formations. Also visit the pretty market town of Pateley Bridge. Stunning scenery and walks everywhere and quiet too.
Bay Tree Barn is associated with The Timble Inn – a luxury 5 star inn/restaurant in Timble in the Washburn Valley close to Nidderdale. It's a wonderful area for walking for people of all abilities and energy. There are some stunning walks - the Timble and Swinsty Reservoir Walk, a distance of 4.7 miles and with a fairly easy difficulty level, this walk is a great way to spend an afternoon and finish with lunch or dinner at The Timble Inn. Breathe the wonderful fresh Yorkshire air and feel invigorated!
The Yorkshire Dales National Park
The Yorkshire Dales are only a short drive away - picturesque villages, breath-taking limestone scenery - gorges, coves and pavements - rugged hills with stunning summit views, including the Three Peaks of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent. Great for mountain biking and horse riding too. The enchanting ruins of Bolton Abbey are close by together with wonderful walks on the Bolton Abbey Estate along and around the River Wharf. The scenery is breathtaking and just waiting to be explored.
Harrogate & Knaresborough
The famous spa town of Harrogate is only 10 miles away. Famous for its Royal Baths, Betty's Tearooms and Valley Gardens, as well as the huge expanse of protected land around the town centre, The Stray. Ablaze with flowers at all times of the year, it has to be one of the prettiest towns in the UK. There are a superb choice of antique shops, art galleries, & individual boutiques. Something to interest everyone.
Knaresborough is also close by with its historic castle ruins, Mother Shipton’s Cave and lovely riverside walks.
Nearby Ripon is well worth a visit for its magnificent cathedral and 'garden' racecourse which has held events for over 300 years. Close to Ripon is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal Park. Newby Hall and Gardens in Ripon was the setting for Jane Austen's Mansfield Park and is a superb day out for all the family.
York is famous for its quaint cobbled streets known as the 'Shambles' as well many other attractions including York Minster, the Jorvik Viking Centre, the Yorkshire Museum and the National Railway Museum. Award winning York Racecourse holds events throughout the year.
The city of Leeds is the nearest big city and is home to the big name designer shops ranging from Harvey Nichols to Vivienne Westwood. Harewood House and grounds are also worth a visit.
