“A great find”
I stopped here last week with my husband and our dog. It was our first time on this site and we were not disappointed. The hard standing pitches are well spaced out, the toilets/shower block kept spotlessly clean and the owners couldn't have been more helpful. The site was quiet and we had a very relaxing stay with lots of walking - a favourite was the bridlepath from Austwick to Feizor where the stone walls are above head height - great cafe in Feizor too for coffee and cake!
Orcaber Farm is in an excellent location for the Dales - you can see two of the 'Three Peaks' from the (excellent) dog walk - Penyghent and Ingleborough. We visited the nearby village of Ingleton and walked round the Waterfalls Walk which I would definitely recommend. The free range eggs for sale were delicious.
We spent the first week in January 2017 here and loved it. A great location for walking in the Dales. The site is really top end. The hard standing pitches are well spaced with water/waste and TV cable on each one. The toilets and showers are new and kept immaculately clean. Neil and Gaynor take great pride in their campsite and it shows. We will definitely be visiting again. Stayed January 2017, travelled with family.
