Crown Cottage Farm is in the small village of Embsay, two miles from the market town of Skipton. Skipton High Street was voted Best High Street in 2008. Visit its colourful market on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Explore Skipton's medieval castle, one of the best preserved famous castles in Britain, or take a canal trip on the Leeds Liverpool Canal which passes through Skipton's Canal Basin.
The rural setting of our B&B makes us a great base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park. For those that like to walk there is plenty of breath taking scenery, from riverside walks to moorland hikes. Bolton Abbey, Grassington, Kettlewell, Malham are all a short car drive away. Or head up the Dales to Hawes and Leyburn. Harrogate and the historic city of York are easily accessible. There are many great places to visit when staying here.

Harrogate This traditional Spa town offers the Turkish Baths, RHS Harlow Carr Garden and Betty's famous Tea Rooms.
Haworth Home of the literary Bronte sisters. Visit their Bronte Parsonage home and museum and take the 'wuthering heights' views.

The double and twin rooms are both en-suite, the small double room has a private bathroom across the landing. All the bedrooms have central heated, flat screen freeview TV, clock radio, an excellent range of teas, coffees on our hospitality trays. Hair dryers, hot water bottles. The en-suite and bathrooms have complimentary toiletries, there are good quality bath and hand towels, face cloths for your use. We offer free Wifi.
Start your day with a good hearty breakfast. There is a good selection of cereals to choose from. Locally sourced bacon and sausages, followed by award winning homemade marmalade, and preserves.
